Annabell Dott

Thursday 16 May 2024, 7.30pm

Talk: Annabel’s life can be charted from her years as a child and young woman in north east London and Bournemouth, to her marriage in Cape Town. She has left buildings she designed or renovated in a number of places. Although just a small church building represents her work in Woodside, the four years she spent there between 1919 and 1923 are possibly the busiest of her busy life. But was she tiresome, or just determined to complete her projects in an era when being a woman in a male dominated world was not easy.
